What you'll be doing As a Platform Engineer, you'll manage and enhance our hybrid/cloud infrastructure.
Key areas include: Cloud Management (Azure): Configure, monitor, and optimize Azure platforms, ensuring secure access via IAM.System Administration: Administer Windows/Linux systems and implement automation for efficiency.Innovation: Identify improvements to boost scalability, security, and reliability, staying current with emerging cloud practices.Security & Compliance: Align platforms with security policies, collaborating on best practices like encryption and key management.Collaboration & Support: Support CI/CD pipeline maintenance with DevOps and troubleshoot cloud/system issues.
Who you are Our ideal candidate is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in managing hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
They bring technical expertise in Azure cloud technologies, security protocols, and automation tools such as Terraform, Azure CLI, and PowerShell.
With a strategic mindset, they can develop long-term platform strategies that effectively balance legacy systems with modern cloud solutions.
They are a skilled problem solver, able to identify challenges and implement innovative solutions.
Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, with additional certifications in Windows or Linux administration as a plus.
