Plant Operative

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Plant Operator to join our team in Plymouth.
The Plant Operator will play a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of our water treatment facilities, ensuring the continuous delivery of clean and safe water to our customers.
Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor plant equipment to ensure efficient and reliable water treatment processes.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime.
Conduct regular inspections of plant facilities to identify any potential issues or safety hazards.
Monitor water quality parameters and make necessary adjustments to treatment processes as needed.
Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Respond promptly to alarms or equipment malfunctions and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
Maintain accurate records of plant operations, equipment maintenance, and water quality data.
Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role within the water industry is preferred.
Knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment is highly desirable.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance tasks.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Good communication skills.
