Requirements Your Role: Mixing Operations: Conduct asphalt mixing to meet BSI:9001 specifications.
Perform pre-start inspections using our digital system.
Identify, record, and report any defective equipment.
Assist maintenance teams in monitoring and maintaining equipment.
Utilize control systems for fixed plant operations.
Loading Shovel Operations: Complete and record pre-start inspections.
Report defective equipment promptly.
Monitor aggregate stock levels and feed materials into the plant.
Drive safely according to site transport plans.
Operate machinery efficiently to minimize costs and environmental impact.
Weighbridge Operations: Manage vehicle loading using the control system.
Schedule materials for production.
Enter data into our internal management system.
Ensure vehicle compliance with safety plans.
Handle phone calls to and from order offices.

Requirements Daily Tasks • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment to meet or exceed company established Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) expectations and customer quality expectations.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment including power and control wiring, motors, controls, electronic devices, PLC's and building electrical maintenance.
• Troubleshoots PLC and other electronic systems.
Able to troubleshoot and program machine logic systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, parts manuals, blueprints, sketches, hydraulic diagrams, and machine manuals.
• Evaluate production report comments prior to performing maintenance to ensure all causes for production inefficiencies are addressed and corrected.
• Perform building maintenance as directed by Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain sufficient records to support the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (EAM) including work orders and parts management.
• Responsible for active participation on plant teams and activities including safety, quality, sustainability, community involvement, OEE, maintenance, employee wellness, brainstorming and continuous improvement which are required to create and maintain a World Class environment.
• Operate Powered Industrial Truck, Boom Lift and Scissor Lift per OSHA regulations rules and guidelines.
Experience Needed • A sense of urgency, accountability, business ethics, professionalism, self-motivation and the desire and focus to improve the business.
• Qualifications in Electrical Engineering • Experience with Mechanical Maintenance or training completed • Experience with advanced skills in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
