Planning Manager - Assurance & Control An increible opportunity has arisen for a professional Planning Manager to lead and develop a team of Planning Engineers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
This role offers the opportunity to shape project success and ensure the timely delivery of key milestones through expert planning and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of Planning Engineers, providing support, guidance, and mentoring in best practices related to planning, reporting, and governance processes.
Collaborate directly with Project Directors to develop comprehensive project plans across all phases, from inception to completion.
Coordinate planning resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
Establish timelines for the production of cost-loaded, deliverable programmes for project sanction.
Support Project Directors in achieving portfolio success by delivering consistent, value-driven project planning activities.
Key Capabilities: Team Leadership & Line Management : Effectively guide and develop your team.
Project Planning Expertise : Experience with Primavera P6, NEC clauses, and compensation event analysis.
Programme & Portfolio Management : Develop and manage programmes that align with the overall project goals.
Client Relationship Management : Ensure that client requirements are met and managed professionally.
Desirable Skills: Proficiency in Primavera P6 .
Knowledge of NEC contractual clauses and cost management .
Certification such as APM or equivalent.
