Planning, Consenting Energy & Infrastructure Solicitor – Edinburgh/Glasgow

We are currently collaborating with our client, an international law firm, on a Senior Planning, Consenting Energy & Infrastructure role within the firm's Planning & Environment Team.The team stands as one of the largest dedicated planning teams in the UK, overseeing a broad range of major projects across various sectors, including infrastructure, energy, and real estate.
The primary objective of this role is to advise on several high-profile energy projects, encompassing offshore wind, large-scale solar, interconnectors, pipelines, carbon capture plants, nuclear, energy networks, and infrastructure.The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years' PQE or more, with prior experience in a similar role within a large regional or national practice.
A strong understanding of the Electricity Act 1989, the Town and Country Planning Acts, and the Planning Act 2008 is highly desirable.This team offers flexibility in terms of location, and the role can be based either at the firm's Edinburgh or Glasgow office.
