Here at the Mick George Group  we are currently recruiting a Planning Assistant to join the planning team.
Location: Mick George Head Office – Huntingdon Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8am – 5pm Pay: To be discussed at an interview Benefits: Company Pension, Employee Assistance Programme, 28-Days holiday including bank holidays, Company benefit platform, Cycle to work scheme The ideal candidate will have previous planning administrative experience, be able to multi-task and willing to learn all aspects of the role.
We are seeking someone who can work independently and work well in a team in a busy fast paced environment.
Main Responsibilities: Completing and submitting planning applications Undertaking checks on land permissions Producing planning applications for new sites or development on existing sites Liaising with local authorities with regards to planning permissions.
Attending meetings and taking minutes Producing presentations for meetings Working closely with the CEO and the Planning Director Producing correspondence on behalf of the Planning Director General administration What we are looking for: To be able to work under pressure and plan and prioritise workload without compromising high level of accuracy required.
Excellent literacy skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to communicate with various stakeholders including members of the Board and Local Authorities.
Full UK Driving License required.
Must have good computer skills.
