Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Planners to be engaged on a permanent basis within the UK Defence sector.
Candidates will ideally be based in Glasgow.
As a Planning Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.
Working on the latest cutting-edge technology for the UK Defence sector.
Day-to-day, you'll identify the maintenance data and work required for the future project maintenance periods.
Resolve any planning and scheduling ambiguities within these activities.
Provide regular liaison with a variety of stakeholders to ensure accuracy and achievement of the required quality.
Build the indicative planning schedule (key date schedule) for the maintenance work activities Essential Experience Experience working as a Planning Engineer on complex engineering projects OR experience as a mechanical or electrical engineer.
Understanding of relevant systems such as P6 or Microsoft project.
Qualifications Ideally hold an HNC or HND, although this is not essential.
Security Clearance The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
