Planful Consultant

As a Planful Consultant at a premier global consulting partner, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and optimising Planful solutions for a diverse, international client base.
You will enable clients to enhance their financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
This role is ideal for someone with expertise in financial performance management, strong analytical skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive organisational success.
Key Responsibilities: End-to-end Planful implementations, from requirements gathering, testing, and go-live.
Support client engagements, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client goals.
Collaborate with clients to define long-term financial planning strategies and translate these into comprehensive Planful solutions.
Customise and optimise Planful applications to meet complex client needs.
Assess and re-engineer client budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of Planful deployments, aligning with industry best practices.
Build trusted client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities to extend Planful capabilities, support client growth, and enhance satisfaction.
Stay updated on Planful product enhancements and industry trends, bringing innovative approaches to client engagements.
Contribute to the development of consulting best practices and participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including system architecture, functional specifications, process workflows, and training materials.
Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with financial performance management software, with at least 2 years as a hands-on Planful (formerly Host Analytics) or TM1 consultant or solution architect.
Prior consulting experience in an enterprise environment is highly preferred.
Advanced knowledge of the Planful or TM1 platform, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analytics modules.
Proficiency with data integration, ETL processes, and SQL is a plus.
Strong understanding of corporate finance, FP&A processes, and accounting principles.
Ability to analyse financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
Proven track record of leading complex projects, with strong organisational and time-management skills.
Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
