They will play a critical role in supporting a large and growing business supplying both the Oil Sands and Hard Rock Mining industry.

Key Responsibilities: Review Piping Isometrics: Review detailed RFQs with an extensive list of documentation and locate key details relevant to Weir products.Cost Estimates: Prepare a detailed bid packages by breaking down items to component level to compile costing data from SAP and from interacting with vendors.Create CAD Models: Create 2D and 3D CAD models of Weir products, do firstt level engineering design check on drawingsSAP Tasks: Lead the engineering group with new product setup tasks as needed, such as SAP item creation, BOM and Routing creation, and cost estimates.Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (Mechanical or Mining)0-5 years of experience working with detailed engineering drawingsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFounded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
