Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced Piping Contracts Manager to join our dedicated team, following the ongoing expansion to our pipework division.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual who is currently in a similar role, looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to grow their career.
Candidate Profile : The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in piping systems and demonstrate the ability to work effectively within our existing team and structure.
A valid driving license is essential.
Candidates with a background in both stainless and carbon steel piping.
Training on our specific systems and processes will be provided based on the candidate's experience.
Key Responsibilities : - Collaborate with the Divisional Manager to oversee all aspects of piping projects large and small from conception to completion.
- Manage project inquiries, perform site visits, conduct client meetings, and prepare pricing for tender submissions.
- Process orders, coordinate drawings, procure materials, and issue work instructions.
- Supervise operations within our fabrication workshops and maintain a high standard of quality.
- Prepare and manage all associated documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and project programs.
- Oversee tradesmen during fabrication and site installations, including subcontractor management.
- Execute all aspects of project management, including planning, problem-solving, and ensuring timely project completion.
- Focus on client retention by meeting budgets and timelines, ensuring high-quality installations that foster repeat business.
Work Location : This position is based in our Glasgow office, with travel to client sites as required.
