Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a large secondary school in Worthing, West Sussex.
The ideal candidate will support students in achieving their full potential by providing tailored assistance in both classroom and one-on-one settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist students with their educational and personal development.
Provide support to the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
Foster a positive learning environment and encourage student engagement.
Work with small groups or individual students to provide focused support.
Assist with planning and implementing educational activities tailored to the needs of the students.

Requirements:
Must have a DBS on the update service and be able to provide suitable references.
Up-to-date safeguarding training is essential.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
