Pic Engineer

PIC Design & Testing Engineer - Bristol Role Overview We are seeking a PIC Design & Testing Engineer to develop and optimize MEMS/PIC inertial sensors.
Your role will involve hands-on testing, data analysis, and collaborating with various teams to refine designs and test processes.
Experience in chip-scale LIDAR, optical switches, or MEMS-enabled silicon photonics is a plus, but not required.
Requirements 3+ years of experience in PIC design, tape-out, and experimental testing (silicon/silicon nitride) Proficient with design and simulation tools (Lumerical, IPKISS, COMSOL) Strong background in testing optical, thermal, mechanical, and electrical systems Master's/PhD in Physics, Engineering, or related field Experience in small teams, with excellent analytical and documentation skills Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment If you are interested in the PIC Design & Testing Engineer vacancy Please ensure your CV highlights the relevant skills and experience, and contact Phil Wright at IC Resources .
