Job summary An opportunity has arisen within the MSK Physiotherapy Team for a Band 4 physiotherapy assistant.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated, compassionate team member to join our dynamic and forward thinking team.The post will spread across Leamington Rehab Hospital and Stratford Hospital.
The physio teams comprise of Technical Instructors, qualified clinical staff including First contact practitioners and Team Leads.The successful candidate will be given responsibility to support a variety of rehab classes, manage a caseload of elective and referred patients with autonomy and guidance from qualified physiotherapists.Although the majority of this role will be clinical, there will be some admin responsibilities where necessary.Previous experience in a Healthcare setting is essential.South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust has a commitment to providing a seven day service and therefore there is a requirement to undertake weekend working.
Main duties of the job The role of requires delivery of high quality, caring and compassionate patient care.
The post holder will undertake assessment, implementation and evaluation of patient care needs for a defined group of patients under the indirect supervision of a registered professional in their specialist area.
The post holder is required to work as part of a team committed to delivering and improving a high standard of therapy within South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust.
