Join the team at South Tyneside/Sunderland NHSFoundation Trust and make a meaningful impact on patient care Main duties of the job As a Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist, you will work autonomously within a dedicated team to provide advanced physiotherapy assessments, diagnosis, and treatments.
This role will enable you to: Deliver high-quality physiotherapy care, from assessment to treatment and discharge planning, using evidence-based practices.
Provide specialist advice and education to patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Lead on clinical practice initiatives to elevate the profile of the service.
Supervise, mentor, and support junior staff and undergraduate physiotherapy students.
Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure adherence to HCPC standards.
Work across Orthopaedic In-patient Wards and MSK Outpatients, with opportunities for cross-site collaboration.
