Job summary Are you looking to join a dynamic, forward thinking department in which to start or progress your career as a Physiotherapist?
We are a looking for qualified physiotherapists who have student experience in all core areas and with placements in the acute hospital environment.
We have fantastic opportunities for graduates who are looking to expand their existing clinical knowledge within an acute district general hospital setting.
We offer 4 month rotations in a range of inpatient and outpatient pride ourselves in supporting staff, with excellent team and department structures and morale.
We run weekly training programmes shared between team training and departmental topics.
We also have superb working relationships with our Consultants and Multidisciplinary Teams.
Our clinical staff are involved in Trust level clinical and non-clinical projects and have opportunities to drive service development, audit and evidence based practice.
Please provide concise details of your student placements (and any band 5 work) to include clinical specialty, duration and provider ( hospital name, acute / community).
HCPC registration and CSP membership are essential.
This post is suitable for qualified Physiotherapists and those due to graduate within the next three months.

Main duties of the job The junior Physiotherapist will assess and treat referred patients within various rotational clinical areas, which may include off site community units and patient homes.

A video about the Royal Surrey - Job description Job responsibilities To assess and treat patients using own Physiotherapy skills within various clinical areas, which may include off site community units and patient homes.
To support the clinical team in the provision of an efficient and effective physiotherapy service.
To organise own caseload, under the supervision of their line manager, delegating certain tasks to physiotherapy assistants and technical instructors as specified in the departmental guidelines.
To participate in training sessions, such as team in-service, on call training and Trust mandatory training.
Be an active part of the on call rota, and weekend service.
Rotate to a variety of clinical specialities including off-site locations.
Requirement to be available across 7 days and flexible working hours as service need requires.
Person Specification Qualifications Essential HCPC registration BSc Physiotherapy (or above) Desirable Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Knowledge Essential Experience of a range of NHS student placements (or equivalent experience) Desirable Knowledge of discharge systems, within the NHS, to support patients Knowledge of systems for data recording and reporting Evidence of post qualification CPD
