At Stagenhoe, we provide the care people need to optimise their health and wellbeing, maximise their independence and support their emotional and social needs.Our assessment centres, rehabilitation units and hospitals use expert neurorehabilitation to support and help improve the lives of people with a neurological condition or brain injury.
Main duties of the job MAIN PURPOSE: To provide a physiotherapy service by assessing, implementing (by self or junior staff) and evaluating programmes of person centred care as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
To ensure continuity and consistency regarding service users physical management.
To demonstrate clinical, technical and research skills through breadth and depth of knowledge.

eating out and shopping Blue Light Card: provides those in the NHS, emergency services, social care sector and armed forces with discounts online and in-store Job description Job responsibilities MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for assessment of service user needs in relation particularly to optimising independence and physical function, and symptom control Responsible to devise a formal plan for families and carers to provide physiotherapy interventions as part of overall care To promote choice in all aspects of clinical practice reviewing and making suggestions to enhance the service user experience and enabling concerns and complaints to be raised freely by service user and their representatives To liaise and communicate with other health and social care professionals and volunteers in the planning and delivery of physiotherapy To ensure appropriate prescription, provision and maintenance of equipment within available resources To ensure that up to date written and electronic records are maintained in accordance with Professional and Brainkind standards, and that sensitive information is held securely To demonstrate clinical leadership and promote clinical supervision.
To share knowledge and expertise with other staff through formal and informal teaching Facilitating the safe and smooth running of the Service, the post holder is expected to maintain a safe working environment, maintain service user confidentiality, and occasionally taking on reasonable additional tasks Person Specification Qualifications Essential ABOUT YOU: Diploma/BSc in Physiotherapy Current and valid Registration with Health & Care Professions Council Current registration with professional body ( CSP) Evidence of Continued Professional Development Use of evidence based practice and outcome measures Knowledge and application of physiotherapy assessments and interventions using clinical reasoning An ability to work autonomously and to set own and support others priorities An ability to confidently assess and manage risk in relation to physical performance
