Physiotherapist Band 6 6 months of NHS experience is mandatory Location: St. Peter's Hospital, Ashford and St. Peters NHS Trust Contract Dates: 2nd Dec to 28th February Department: Stroke & Neuro Pay mechanism: Direct Pay Pay rates: £21 - £23 Role: Physiotherapist Band 6 About Client: St Peter's and Ashford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, located in Surrey, England, operates two main hospitals: St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey, known for its comprehensive emergency and specialist care, and Ashford Hospital in Ashford, which focuses on elective procedures and outpatient services.
The Trust, established in 1998, aims to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care and is committed to community health and safety improvements.
Key Responsibilities: Supporting acute stroke team at St Peter's Hospital Deliver high-quality physiotherapy care to patients within the Stroke & Neuro department.
Assess, plan, and implement physiotherapy interventions based on individual patient needs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Provide mentorship and support to junior staff and students.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to service development.
Requirements: HCPC registered Physiotherapist with relevant experience in Stroke and Neuro settings.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Demonstrable commitment to continuing professional development.
