Role Highlights Fulltime permanent PE Teacher role in a welcoming SEN school dedicated to creating positive supportive learning experiences for students with additional needs Design and lead tailored PE sessions that promote physical fitness teamwork and confidence ensuring activities are inclusive and adapted to meet the diverse needs of each student Work closely with the schools SEN team to integrate physical activity into a multidisciplinary approach encouraging active participation and personal growth across all ability levels Support students in reaching individual fitness goals while also providing guidance on the importance of physical health wellbeing and resilience Engage in school events and extracurricular activities creating opportunities for students to showcase their skills and participate in inclusive sports and activity days Experience and Qualifications Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching PE to SEN students with an ability to adapt exercises and games to accommodate varied learning and physical needs Creative and empathetic approach to teaching with a commitment to building confidence and positive social interactions through physical education Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire students and collaborate effectively with teaching assistants therapists and caregivers to provide a holistic learning experience Clear enhanced DBS check required to ensure a safe environment for all students This role is ideal for a passionate PE Teacher who values the transformative impact of physical activity on students lives.
