Job overview Fixed-Term Contract - monthsWe have an exciting opportunity to recruit an enthusiastic Band Nurse Associate on a month fixed term contract, to join Peterborough Adult Locality duty team.
You will be working alongside a Band duty lead supporting patients who are experiencing a crisis, administering depots, planning and delivering care to patients on the care coordination waiting list.
You will have daily Multi-Disciplinary Team support.
The role requires the individual to work from base but be flexible to travel within Peterborough community at short notice.
Main duties of the job The post holder will provide quality evidence-based nursing advice, support and care for service users with mental and physical health needs and to their carers within a multidisciplinary setting.
They will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care in line with the agreed NMC standards specific to the role, and will have a working knowledge of local, national policies and legislation which govern current service provision.
The post holder will ensure that effective communication pathways exist, and that they act within their sphere of responsibility.
They will work as part of the duty team to manage the unplanned work which comes into the duty inbox.
