Job Title: Temporary Phlebotomist Contract Type: Temporary Hourly Rate : £12.21 - £13.48 Job Overview: Meridian Business Support is seeking skilled and experienced Phlebotomists to undertake services to patients in the community.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws, ensuring accurate sample collection, and maintaining patient care and safety throughout the process.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with phlebotomy experience looking to support a dynamic healthcare setting for a defined period.
Key Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages Ensure accurate and timely specimen collection and labelling Provide clear instructions and support to patients to ensure a positive experience Always maintain infection control and safety protocols Record patient data accurately and ensure confidentiality Assist with maintaining phlebotomy equipment and supplies Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient flow Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and organizational policies Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience as a Phlebotomist minimum 6 months Phlebotomy certification Excellent venipuncture skills and ability to perform difficult blood draws Strong communication and interpersonal skills A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Flexibility to work Why Join Us?
