We are looking for a candidate who holds a registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and a willingness to work towards assessor and internal verifier qualifications if not already held.You will ideally have proven experience in pharmacy education and training, with an understanding of national policies and frameworks for pharmacy workforce development.
You will have demonstrated strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support others.Holding a teaching and/or leadership qualification and experience using online teaching platforms is desirable.
Key Responsibilities: Programme Leadership: Design, deliver, and evaluate training programmes for pharmacy support staff and collaborate in delivering training programmes for pharmacy technicians, and pharmacists.National Representation: Represent the South West at national forums, ensuring local programmes align with professional changes and innovations.Training Delivery: Lead study days and teach pharmacy staff through face-to-face and online methods.Team Leadership: Supervise and support internal verifiers, educational supervisors, and work-based assessors.Development of New Roles: Identify regional needs and create programmes for emerging pharmacy roles.Supporting Regional Workforce Development: Providing on site support where needed.
