Job summary Due to the progression of the previous postholder an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced pharmacy technician to join our ward services leadership team.

You will be leading a team of pharmacy technicians and senior pharmacy services assistants within the surgical team known, as TRACT.
This team covers a wide array of specialities including renal medicine, transplant, general surgery, colorectal surgery and ICU areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following; - To provide a high level of professional leadership for your area of responsibility and to act as a role model.
- The day-to-day operational running of the area for which they are responsible - Rota management - To ensure all attendance management processes are followed and escalated as appropriate - To assist and lead on the recruitment and selection of new staff, including induction.
- To co-ordinate and provide training for rotational staff members and new starters - To work alongside your peers in a supportive and respectful manner - To play a key role in the development of our services - To deputise for the operational lead in their absence Please be aware the above is not an exhaustive list.
