Job summary Our Rotherham Alcohol and Drug Service (ROADS) are recruiting for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join them in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse client group.

Medication can be a Main duties of the job Managing our use, control and storage of medicines and their associated stationary is an essential part of the role.
You'll be asked for your input into how we develop these services and educate our frontline teams to maintain high quality service provision and build an ever better offering for the future.

Essential Skills To successfully carry out this role you will need: to be a registered Pharmacy Technician with GPhCan NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services BTEC Pharmacy Technician (or equivalent)evidence of your continuous professional developmentat least 2 years post-qualification experience of working in a pharmacy environmentexperience of providing medicine related advice to service users/carersexperience of working in a multi-disciplinary teamknowledge of controlled drugs regulationsbe organised, able to prioritise well and deal with unexpected demands on your timeto be comfortable using IT and gathering, monitoring and analysing datagood oral and written communication skillsbe able to work alone but also recognise when to refer in line with your personal/professional limitationsable to travel to different locations as and when required A full job description and person specification is available on request.
