Pharmacy Team Lead, Primary Care (Caithness)

To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual, to join us to lead on the delivery of clinical pharmacy input and medicines management, primarily working with GP Practices, delivering the Pharmacotherapy Service of the Scottish GMS Contract.
As one of the Pharmacy Team Leads in the Caithness area you will join an established team to provide line management and professional leadership to a primary care pharmacy team so previous experience of leadership, management or service development would be advantageous.
You will contribute to advancing clinical services in line with local and national strategy and develop the team through education and training and progressing skill mix.You will have a Masters degree in Pharmacy or equivalent, be an independent pharmacist prescriber and be on the practising register of the General Pharmaceutical Council.
You should have post-registration experience of clinical pharmacy practice, good clinical skills, a relevant postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy and experience of working in primary care pharmacy.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and good IT skills.

Remote working will be considered.This is a full-time permanent post of 37 hours per week, to be worked in accordance with service requirements.
