Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic well motivated individual with excellent communication skills to join our friendly, progressive pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Support Worker working within our Stores and Distribution areas to grow and drive our Medicines Optimisation Services.
This would be an ideal opportunity for anyone who would like to start a career in Pharmacy or would like to develop their skills and knowledge further within Pharmacy.
Main duties of the job Duties of this role include: working within the Pharmacy stores receiving, unpacking and checking deliveries against paperwork.Returning incorrect goods to pharmacy suppliersStoring all drugs correctly and in line with stock rotationIssuing and distributing drugs to the dispensary, wards and departmentsMaintaining correct stock levels in the department and on the wardsTake part in rotational stock and expiry date checksTake part in ward stock topping up serviceProcess drugs returned from wardsUndertake, under direction, dispensing dutiesTo contribute to the weekend, late night and bank holiday rota.
