Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Radcliffe to assist with the appointment of a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant , on a  1-month contract , likely to be extended at clients discretion.

Rate of Pay: £12.10 - £14.78 per Hour Responsibilities: Delivering efficient dispensary operations and ensuring dispensing losses are minimised Ensuring accurate handling and dispensing on all medicines NHS and private Complying with legal and professional requirements and Company SOPs Assist in the delivery of all pharmacy services where appropriate Ensuring all customers and patients receive safe and accurate advice on medicines including OTC medication as required Qualifications: You will have a NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services / Dispensing Assistant qualifications completed by a GPhC accredited route.
Experience of working in a community pharmacy, ideally with experience of using Pharmacy Manager software Working NHS Smartcard Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
