Pharmacy Dispenser Salary: 29,528 (inclusive of shift allowance and annual bonus) Location: Runcorn Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Role 1: Shifts alternating weekly between 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm Role 2: Flexible 7.5 hours between 8am-7pm About the Role: Total Staff are recruiting on behalf of a client who is expanding their Dispensing team within their Pharmacy Department.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation and play a vital role in ensuring patients receive high-quality service and care.
Key Responsibilities: Accurately process prescriptions to meet patient needs and maintain high standards of care.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Patient Services, Production, and Warehouse, to ensure seamless delivery of prescriptions.
Communicate with external stakeholders such as hospitals, GP surgeries, and dieticians to coordinate prescriptions and maintain continuity of patient treatment.
Respond promptly and professionally to queries via email and telephone.
Support the pharmacy team by assisting with daily operations and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Maintain accurate records and identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
Work closely with other Dispensers, Technicians, and Pharmacists to ensure efficient resource use across the Pharmacy department.
Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Pharmacy Services Team Leader to support departmental goals.
What We're Looking For: Essential: Previous experience in an administrative role.
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office; SAP experience advantageous).
GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (training can be provided).
Previous dispensing experience.
