Hours This is a full time role, working hours per week, usually Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm.
Salary This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £24,973 per annum - depending on experience.

You will: Complete general dispensary duties and stock management Be working as an active member of the Pharmaceutical team to ensure delivery of the pharmaceutical service Provide a timely and efficient service to the prison wings & Work on prescription service for around 7 sites Receive prescriptions and stick returns from wing based clinical areas Collect orders from suppliers from the Main Gate and arrange collection of return Participate in dispensing of prescriptions.

Our new Pharmacy Assistant Will Have: An NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills / Pharmacy Dispensing Pharmacy experience whether from the community, hospital, or secure setting Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent A non-judgmental and compassionate approach Excellent communication skills Good IT skills and IT literacy Ability to work within a busy environment Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures Secure environments are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work.
