About the role: We are seeking a reliable and detailoriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our pharmacy team.
As a Pharmacy Assistant you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient handling storage and distribution of aesthetic and pharmaceutical products.
The ideal candidate should be organized have a strong attention to detail and be capable of working in a compliant process driven environment.
Requirements (essential) Previous experience in a pharmacy or warehouse or similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with inventory management systems.
Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy loads.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Teamwork and collaboration skills.
Adherence to health and safety guidelines.
Secondary school examinations or equivalent.
Desirable requirements: Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and storage requirements is an asset NVQ 2 Qualified Familiarity with Human Medicines Regulations 2012 and EU GDP Guidelines (2013/C 343/01) Responsibilities: Receive inspect and verify incoming product shipments.
Ensure all items match the accompanying documentation.
Report any discrepancies or damages to the relevant internal stakeholders.
Safely and securely store pharmaceutical products in designated areas.
Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems.
Monitor expiration dates and ensure proper rotation of stock.
Accurately pick and pack orders for delivery to various locations.
Prepare pharmaceutical products for shipment in compliance with regulations.
Conduct regular quality checks on stored and shipped products.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain product integrity.
Adhere to all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials.
Work closely with other team members to coordinate workflow.
Communicate effectively with pharmacists delivery personnel and other relevant stakeholders.
