Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant Location: Royal Stoke University Hospital, City General, Newcastle Road, Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire, ST4 6QG Hourly Rate : £11.94 Hours: 39.5 hours per week Rowlands Pharmacy are currently looking for an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

Responsibilities  Provide courteous and effective service to all customers and patients.
Assist in all dispensing activities under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Adhere to company SOPs, Information Governance, policies, and procedures.
Develop positive working relationships with healthcare professionals.
Assist in the sale of medicines and other merchandise.
Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the branch.
Manage pharmaceutical/OTC stock and equipment effectively.
I mplement company security procedures, especially for controlled drugs and cash handling.
Experience and Qualifications  NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course (Buttercups) Previous experience in a customer-focused environment.
Understanding of confidentiality and accurate handling of medicines.
Self motivation, initiative, good interpersonal skills, ability to prioritise workload, and work to deadlines.
