Pharmaceutical Team Leader

Pharmaceutical Team Leader Are you an ambitious, dedicated and career-focused individual, with experience working in Pharmaceutical Aseptics or Medical Devices (Compounding) in a managerial or supervisory posiition?
Our Aseptic Production Unit are responsible for compounding and producing all of the products for our patients, in a sterile environment, in line with standard operating procedures.
The Team Leader will provide leadership, direction and facilitate the management of the UK compounding centre in line with the company values and objectives.
The role is based in Runcorn, Cheshire and the working hours are 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, working 7.00am to 3.00pm and 3.00pm to 11.00pm or 6.00am to 2.00pm and 2.00pm to 10.00pm.
Responsibilities • Recruitment, engagement, development, motivation and retention of quality and committed staff • Compliance of company policies and legislative requirements to include Health and Safety, cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practise), ISO Standards and HR related policies & procedures • Contribution and participation as an individual and representative of Fresenius Kabi UK in future development and the roll out of the company strategy • To achieve the Compounding centre Operations directives on a daily, monthly and annual basis • Set operational objectives to ensure that activity is delivered on time and to the agreed accredited standard • Implementation of local and corporate management practices • Assist in maintaining the Quality Assurance Accreditation Programme • Attend management meetings as required Qualifications/experience • Experience in Pharmaceutical Aseptics or Medical Devices (Compounding) • Managerial or supervisory experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong knowledge of GMP requirements • Excellent people management skills Benefits Contributory Pension Scheme (rises with service) Role specific tailored training and development plan Life Insurance (4 x salary, death in service) 25 days holiday (rises to 27 after 5 years service) and ability to buy/sell holidays Maternity, Paternity and Adoption Leave Professional fees paid Bike to work scheme Long Service Awards Employee Assistance Programme Free onsite parking and subsidised canteen Blue Light Card Charity Fundraising & Volunteer Days Company funded family days out We are proud to foster a workplace free from discrimination.
