Role Description As a Personal Tax Director, you will oversee and guide the personal tax team, managing complex portfolios for clients that range from entrepreneurs to international investors.
This role demands strong expertise in tax advisory for clients with multifaceted tax requirements, including estate planning, capital gains, self-assessment, residency, and domicile planning.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax planning and strategic advice tailored to client needs, with a focus on maintaining compliance and optimizing financial outcomes.
Responsibilities Provide expert guidance on complex personal tax issues and ensure the accuracy of high-stakes filings, including self-assessment, inheritance, and capital gains taxes.
Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, driving their development and maintaining the firm's high standards of service.
Act as the primary contact for key clients, identifying opportunities for tax-saving strategies, managing compliance, and navigating the evolving UK tax landscape.
Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to develop integrated advisory solutions, particularly for clients with needs in wealth management, family office services, and international tax.
Stay updated on tax legislation changes, ensuring compliance and communicating relevant insights to clients and internal teams.
Requirements Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) with extensive experience in personal tax, particularly within an advisory context.
