Personal Support Assistant

Personal Support Assistant I am a happy, 9 year old boy who is looking for a Personal Assistant to support me in the Merthyr area.
I would like to have a little more independence and for someone to spend time in the week supporting me to go out in the community.
My social worker wants me to develop my communication skills and gain confidence outside my family home.
This will also help my mother take a break from her caring role.
I like most things and would like to have the opportunity to access social activities in the community in a range of social settings.
Tasks and Duties Help me be more sociable and confident away from Mam, Dad and siblings.
Help me develop my own interests and plan activities with me.
Look after me for 4.5 hours in termtime and 12 hours a week in School holidays; this could include taking me to the park or to an activity, group etc.
Be patient and help me develop independence and confidence.
A Car user with vehicle would be desirable Observe me always, and help me to develop self care skills.
Working Hours / Pay of Rate £13.80 per hour.
4.5 hours per week termtime and 12 hours per week during School holidays Type of Person Required needs a DBS check preferably a person with a background in childcare and works with children with additional needs Training Full training will be provided in house.
About The job Salary Frequency – Calendar Monthly or Fortnightly - By BACS.
Successful applicant will be subject to a three-month trial period.
A DBS check will be required, this will be at no cost to yourself.
