Personal Lines Account Handler

We are recruiting for a Personal Lines Account Handler to work on the handling of general personal lines (Car, Van, Classic Car/Motor Cycle & Travel type policies) with some mid/high net-worth clients.Overview of dutiesMaintain a professional image of self and the Group to all customers and insurersIdentify and understand the customers needs and businessBuild relationships with customers and provide an ongoing serviceComplete and offer all renewals within the FCA guidelinesComplete and process all new business and transfer new business within the FCA guidelinesCompletion of tasks in a timely mannerEnsure that all compliance responsibilities are recorded and reported as requiredBuild own technical knowledge to achieve/maintain competence and maintain own training recordsPerson specification Knowledge, skills and abilities:Customer Care skillsPlanning and Organisational skillsSome High Net Worth & Mid Net Worth Insurance Technical KnowledgeNegotiation skillsFCA Compliant ProcessEducation / and or ExperienceGeneral insurance experienceCar, Van, Standard Homes/Thatched Homes, Classic Car/Motor Cycle & Travel type policiesCustomer service skillsKey information: Hours: Monday – Friday, 35 Hours Location: Hemel HempsteadIf this sounds like something you are interested in please apply or contact Lucy Reed for further information.
