Personal Lines Account Handler

We are recruiting for a Personal Lines Account Handler to work on the handling of general personal lines (Car, Van, Classic Car/Motor Cycle & Travel type policies) with some mid/high net-worth clients.

Overview of duties Maintain a professional image of self and the Group to all customers and insurers Identify and understand the customers needs and business Build relationships with customers and provide an ongoing service Complete and offer all renewals within the FCA guidelines Complete and process all new business and transfer new business within the FCA guidelines Completion of tasks in a timely manner Ensure that all compliance responsibilities are recorded and reported as required Build own technical knowledge to achieve/maintain competence and maintain own training records Person specification Knowledge, skills and abilities: Customer Care skills Planning and Organisational skills Some High Net Worth & Mid Net Worth Insurance Technical Knowledge Negotiation skills FCA Compliant Process Education / and or Experience General insurance experience Car, Van, Standard Homes/Thatched Homes, Classic Car/Motor Cycle & Travel type policies Customer service skills Key information: Hours: Monday – Friday, 35 Hours
