Role RequirementsYou will be required to support the client to: meet up and spend time alone with his friends attend hospital appointments undertake social activities, ., going for a coffee, to the cinema, or any other activity he would like to do.
The client likes to make decisions about what he wants to do on the day as this will depend on how he feels.You must have a driving licence as you will be required to drive the client's mobility vehicle.This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, patient, and respectful of others' privacy, dignity, values, and beliefs.

The role is subject to interview, references and an enhanced DBS checkAnything else you need to know:The client enjoys good conversation, eating out, going to the pub, gaming, and keeping fish.He requires support with getting in and out of bed, to and from his power wheelchair, and with toileting.
There is a ceiling track hoist fitted in the client's bedroom and bathroom which needs the assistance of one carer.
The client does have a urine bottle which he will use but he requires full support with intimate personal hygiene and support with undressing and redressing when toileting.The client has been diagnosed with sleep apnoea (he has a weakness of his lung and breathing muscles) and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) which is a muscle wasting disease.
