No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be!Each person we support has different support needs, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.The Best in You Brings Out the Best in MeThe people we support have many varied interests and hobbies and have many of the same dreams and aspirations as we do; they just too often do not get the opportunity to experience these same opportunities.

He has a bubbly and engaging personality and loves his staff to join in with his interests.Routine is very important to Colin, and he likes to know what he is doing each day.
A typical day when supporting Colin could be going to the shops to ensure Colin has all the essentials he needs, a trip to Glasgow Airport to watch the planes land and traveling on the subway.
Colin has a keen interest in photography and likes to take pictures of his experiences during the day.Colin is also supported when he attends various clubs during the week with his friends which he really enjoys.
In his downtime, Colin enjoys sensory experiences and has a keen interested in flags, plants and really enjoys watching the Big Bang Theory.Colin receives support 7 days a week usually between the hours of 9am and 10pm.
Sadly, it's not always possible for Colin to enjoy what many people would consider these 'simple pleasures' without proper, dedicated support.That is why Colin needs you!
