We are looking for an experienced and innovative Perceived Quality Integration Engineer who has the ability to provide feasibility inputs to Engineering and Design as part of the conceptual and early Engineering phases of new vehicle programmes. The role of Perceived Quality Integration Engineer will support the Lead Engineers covering interior trim development especially during the early stages of design.
This will involve communication with cross functional teams both in the UK and Asia, (internal and external) while embracing the strategic requirements and objectives to identify areas for improvement across all facets of the business.
As a Perceived Quality Integration Engineer , you will be charged with; Supporting on request for part / assembly maturation process.
Root cause analysis support for production / design related concerns for TML.
Reviewing and validating of system integration for Exterior / Interior themes.
Developing of PQ techniques and processes.
Supporting Mentorship and knowledge transfer to PQ methods and Processes.
Main duties and skills required for the Perceived Quality Integration Engineer will be; Create and manipulate geometry using Catia for primary communication of Gap / Rad Planning PQ Requirements.
(Expectation is at least 50%-time utilisation will be for geometry generation) 2D data & sectional data.
(Key module utilisation: Part design & Geometric Surface design) TCUA (Team Centre) PLM utilisation is desirable Generation and development of the PQ activities for Ext / Int Trim Support Lead PQ / Integration Engineer on complete vehicle activities Generation and maintenance of the Gap & Rad Plan Development of Product Attribute Targets (PAT) based upon the Product Attribute PALS positioning for PQ Assist with the Benchmarking of competitor vehicles & reporting findings.
Support Optical Quality & Perceived Quality development & assessment activities.
