Department Overview Dunelm is on a journey to becoming a true omni-channel retailer, driving digital capability and sales. Dunelm is looking to appoint a Technology People Partner, reporting to the Head of People Partnering for Technology & Commercial.
This individual will use their experience in both People Management and Technology to support the senior Technology team and line managers to improve colleague engagement, look for innovative ways to drive recruitment and act as the conscious in driving a forward-thinking people agenda in this area of the business, empowering our Tech leaders and line managers, to grow their colleagues' capabilities through identifying our talent and developing their skills.

What you'll be doing Understand Dunelm's activities and ambitions – strategically, commercially, and culturally – in order to translate these into a successful and agile technology people plan. Work with stakeholders to implement a forward-thinking people strategy within Tech, driving both colleague and customer experience. Taking an active role in bringing our D&I ambitions to life within Technology and driving colleague engagement through leadership led talent and career development. Work closely with the Technology leadership team on strategic plans and future-focussed organisational design to ensure that Dunelm becomes a true digital-first business as the organisation continues to grow and evolve its business model. Ensure that appropriate and timely OD interventions are in place to fully support the business plan. Build strong relationships with the Technology leadership teams and line managers, as a business partner and sounding board that supports delivery of the integrating requirements of the people function into their areas of the business. Contribute actively to the Tech leadership team and provide active guidance to colleagues and line managers alike, via coaching and mentoring. Provide guidance and support to line managers to foster positive colleague relations, resolve workplace issues, and promote a collaborative, productive work environment. Form trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, in order to influence and shape decision making. Using the data available and being driven with this to make informed collaborative decisions. Act as a key ambassador for Dunelm, advocating and exemplifying its values and principles. What we'll look for in you A visible and engaging person with strong strategic capability who is able to enthuse, motivate and mentor and has the ability to "take people on the journey".
