We've grown from servicing the local shop and cafe, to national wholesale delivery, supplying over 8,000 independent Marshfield Farm ice cream parlours, cafes, restaurants and farm shops across the country.

JOB SUMMARY
We're looking for a People and Development Partner to join our team on a 12 month contract as our team continues to grow.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes within our business.
This newly created role involves managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, benefits, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training and development.
You will work closely with our managers to develop and implement HR strategies that support our goals and foster a positive workplace culture for all.
Key Responsibilities Manage the recruitment, selection, and induction process to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
Provide all HR administrative support to the business, including maintaining and updating our HR system, Breathe, employee benefits, all record keeping, and working closely with finance.
Own, maintain and promote HR best practice across the business.
Ensure compliance with all employment laws, ensuring all policies and practices are UpToDate.
Advise and support managers on all HR related matters.
Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, promoting a positive workplace culture, managing conflicts and providing guidance on all workplace issues.
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
Ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Identify training needs and lead on all employee development activity.
Collaborate with and advise management to align HR strategies with business goals.
Support initiatives around company culture, employee engagement, retention and health and wellbeing.
Prepare and maintain accurate day to day HR records including holiday and sickness, together with reporting including key metrics such as turnover, employee satisfaction, and diversity, using data to improve HR processes.
Champion and work towards our Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) goals and policies to the highest standards at all times.
Requirements: CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent).
Proven experience in a similar standalone role, and an ability to hit the ground running.
Solid knowledge of employment law, HR best practice, and employee development.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to manage conflicting priorities.
Ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships with employees and management, balancing people over policy.
High emotional intelligence, with strong influencing, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
A resilient, positive attitude and a passion for making a difference in an impact led business.
Good IT skills, and experience with HRIS systems, for example Breathe HR.
Self-motivated with a team spirit to work collaboratively within the business.
