Job Description Salary: £58,000 Location: Northampton Contract Type: Permanent We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Pensions Specialist to join an established and successful team.
In this role, you will manage, analyze, and optimize our organization's pension plans, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and providing top-tier support to our employees.
A successful candidate will bring expertise in pension administration.
As a Pensions Specialist, you will be the go-to person for employee inquiries regarding pension options and support, and you will work collaboratively with the HR and Finance departments to streamline pension processes, monitor fund performance, and ensure the accuracy of pension data.
Key Responsibilities Pension Administration : Oversee the day-to-day administration of the organization's pension plans, ensuring timely and accurate processing of contributions, distributions, and transfers.
Employee Support : Act as the primary point of contact for employee questions on pension options, providing clear guidance and assistance.
Compliance and Reporting : Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pension regulations.
Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports to management, auditors, and regulatory bodies as required.
Data Management : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee pension information within the ADP system and other databases.
Plan Analysis and Improvement : Analyze the performance of pension plans and recommend improvements to optimize benefits for employees and cost-effectiveness for the organization.
Vendor Management : Collaborate with pension providers, ensuring their services align with organizational goals and employee needs.
Training and Development : Provide training and informational sessions to employees on pension-related topics.
Qualifications Experience with ADP systems is desirable but not essential; familiarity with other HRIS platforms is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-specialist audiences.
