Key Responsibilities of PE Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring all students are motivated and challenged.
Teach Physical Education to students aged 11-16 .
Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events, fostering a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm for physical fitness.
Monitor and assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external partners to enhance the PE curriculum and support student development.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
Promote health and safety in all activities, ensuring students understand the importance of safe practices.
Requirements of PE Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience in teaching Physical Education is essential.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best in PE.
Commitment to promoting a love for physical fitness and a curiosity about the world of sports.
Relevant qualifications or training in physical education (desirable but not essential).
