They seeking to recruit an engaging and inspirational instructor or teacher of Physical Education, initially based at the Eastbourne site.
Location: Eastbourne Role: Teacher/Instructor of Physical Education Hours: Permanent and full-time (32.5hrs per week) Pay: Qualified Teacher main to upper pay scale + SEN allowance OR Unqualified Teacher pay scale + additional allowance (dependent on experience) The Role: They welcome applications from all specialisms, with the ability to adapt to PE to pupils who have difficulties accessing mainstream styles of teaching.

Job Description and Person Specification: Ensure the effective teaching of Physical Education and Outdoor Education, providing opportunities for pupils from all abilities in KS2, 3 and 4 with lessons that are planned with clear aims and objectives. Encourage and motivate students to actively participate in physical activities, fostering teamwork, respect, and positive attitudes.
Encourage all students to be actively engaged in their own learning and in reviewing their progress.
Provide clear structures for lessons, maintaining pace, motivation and challenge.
Deal with inappropriate behaviour quickly and effectively according to the school behaviour policy.
Have lead responsibility for the development of PE within the school site.
Qualifications & Skills: Teaching certification (if applicable) or relevant experience as a PE instructor.
Experience coaching sports teams or organizing sports events.
Previous experience working in an educational setting with children/teens.
Strong knowledge of a variety of sports, fitness activities, and physical education programs.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
Ability to inspire and engage students in physical activity.
A commitment to promoting inclusivity and adapting lessons to accommodate diverse learners.
