Job summary Please note this is a Primary Care Health Care Assistant role and as such is a clinical one.We are looking for a part time Primary Care Support worker to join our existing team.
The role is a very varied one; our current team of 8 staff is highly skilled and we are seeking another part time HCA to help with the workload across our 6 member practices.
Please see uploaded job specification document for full details Main duties of the job This will suit someone who has experience as an HCA in general practice although our team does perform additional tasks that a practice HCA may not have.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an HCA to further their development and learn new clinical skills within an experienced and cohesive team.

Weprovide enhanced clinical services across six GP surgeries within the Pudsey and Bramley area, with a totalpatient population of approximately 70k.
WLPCNcurrently benefits from the following clinical teams, directly employed byourselves - Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians Community Wellbeing Advisers (SocialPrescribers) Health Care Assistants(Primary Care SupportWorkers) Dietitians Learning Disability / Severe MentalIllness Care Co-ordinator Highly skilled prescribing Frailty /Home visiting team (Advanced Clinical Practitioners andAssociate ClinicalPractitioners) Health & Wellbeing Coaches (weightmanagement,cancer screening).
Specialist cardiac nurse We also have access to physiotherapyand mental wellbeing services.
Please see website for more information Job description Job responsibilities Our current highly skilled Primary Care Support workers undertake the following tasks: - Phlebotomy - Blood pressure checks - ECG test (but not the reading and assessing of the results) - Vaccinations (flu, B12, Covid) ** - NHS Health Checks - Physical checks for patients with serious mental illness (SMI) and learning disabilities (LD) - Dopplers - Stocking measurements - Diabetic foot checks - Staple / sutures removal ** - FeNo (respiratory) testing ** - Woundcare ** - Smoking cessation (planned) ** - Long term condition reviews - Non clinical dementia reviews ** If you are not yet proficient in these we may be able to offer training Person Specification Qualifications Essential GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths Please see uploaded job specification document for full details Desirable Qualified to NVQ level 3 Please see uploaded job specification document for full details Experience Essential Clinical experience commensurate with an HCA role in a general practice setting, such as phlebotomy, BP etc Please see uploaded job specification document for full details Desirable Please see uploaded job specification document for full details
