Job Description The Conway Group is experiencing significant growth and expansion, creating an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to become part of our dynamic team as a Payroll Officer, based at the head office in Magherafelt.

  Main duties and responsibilities: ·         Process company payroll every pay period.
·         Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating and inputting data.
·         Complete payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review.
·         Adhere to payroll policies and procedures.
·         Receive and coordinate requests for leave and other absences.
·         Deal with staff queries about pay dates, absences, timesheets, & enquiries regarding pay amounts and escalating them as appropriate.
About The Role About you:   ·         Experience in working in a busy payroll department would be essential.
Display the ability to organise and prioritise tasks and responsibilities efficiently.
·         Demonstrate a proactive and optimistic attitude, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration within a team ·         Experience in working in payroll packages like Sage.
·         Strong communication skills.
·         Great knowledge of Excel and being efficient on all Microsoft packages.
    Desirable Criteria: Degree or similar qualification beneficial.
Relevant experience gained in a similar industry and role.
