Job description: Payroll and Credit Control Assistant Location: Working from home with occasional working from officeJob type: Full time, permanentSalary: Up to £28,000 per yearContracted hours: 40h per weekThe role Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.Resolves pay related queries.Ensures accurate and timely processing of pension submissions, payments and reconciliations.Ensures accurate and timely processing, payment and reconciliation of employee expenses.Assists with Credit Control processes including, generation and distribution of debtors reportingAdvises and prioritise setting Administrators with debtors processes and queries Processes bad debt write off's and pass bad debt accounts to LegalAdministrates the Legal Department debt system and process legal forms for small claimsPerforms other duties as assigned.Ensure keeping up to date with any changes to policies and procedures by reading any policies uploaded to IHASCO.Any other Ad hoc duties relevant to the department.Any other task as reasonably requested by your line manager.
Essential qualities and Experience Good history in processing company payroll.Computer literacy to including use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Sage payroll and Excel.Willing to undertake further CPD and training.Good knowledge of information technology especially Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and in house data bases).
Communication, numeracy, and organisational skills.
