We are looking for a Patient Services Administrator in our Haywards Heath Hospital who will be responsible for administering a large volume of email requests from referrals to appointments, ensuring the hospital meets its service deliverables whilst exceeding customer expectations.
Preferably, you will hold an NVQ level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent and have experience working in a customer-facing environment to help us build a healthier nation.
As our Patient Services Administrator, you will: Bring empathy, sympathy, and sensitivity to the role.
Ensure complex administration and support meets the required standards and timescales.
Have attention to detail, ensuring all data/information is accurate using the appropriate system and format.
Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports as required by the department.
Handle appointment bookings and changes.
Co-ordinate availability of rooms and consultants.
Create, alter, or cancel clinics as required to support business needs.
