Main duties of the job The Finance Business partner will support the Deputy and Divisional Head of Finance to ensure that monthly budget monitoring reports are robust and take accurate account of all appropriate accruals within the agreed timetable, to plan and co-ordinate development of the annual budget for the division and prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, costings, and business cases.The post holder is expected to work as part of a cohesive team and when necessary, may take lead responsibility for issues outside of their immediate sphere of responsibility.
The Finance Business partner will work closely with the Deputy and Head of Divisional Finance and fellow Finance Business Partners within the Divisional finance team to ensure that the finance function makes an influential contribution to the Division's managerial and business objectives.The post holder will develop close and collaborative working relationships with key leads within their directorate and fellow finance colleagues in corporate finance to ensure the directorate finance team's operations are consistent with the Trust's financial framework and in managing the implementation of financial controls and processes and will be responsible for the effective and accurate production of financial reporting and analysis.They will help to deputise for the Deputy Head of Divisional Finance when required.
