The opportunity Are you an innovative and accomplished academic practitioner in Fine Art?
We're looking for highly skilled and experienced Pathway Leaders to guide and inspire students in the 2D and XD Pathways of our BA Fine Art course at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London (UAL).
As a Pathway Leader, you'll be at the heart of BA Fine Art, overseeing curriculum delivery, leading teaching, and managing resources.
You'll work alongside a vibrant academic community to foster a rich, interdisciplinary approach to Fine Art education, preparing students to thrive in diverse social, political, cultural, and technological contexts.
This role is key to developing students' skills and perspectives through rigorous critical engagement and experimentation, guiding them to explore innovative ways of making and presenting art.
About the BA Fine Art Course CSM's BA Fine Art is an established and globally respected course, recognised for its progressive and interdisciplinary approach.
Working together, staff and students interrogate the multiple and varied ways in which artists make work and make work public.
The Art Programme takes a radical, interdisciplinary, experimental and frequently collaborative approach to creative making.
This perspective is reflected in the community of teaching and technical staff that input into the BA Fine Art course.
About you You will be a leading authority in the field of Fine Art, recognised by your peers for your contributions to research and/or professional practice in the specialism.
You should bring a proven ability to shape curriculum, inspire students, and collaborate effectively with a wide range of colleagues.
Experience of leadership and management in higher education, would be desirable.
