Patent Attorney

Company: Convatec Role: European Patent Attorney – Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Industry: Intellectual Property Salary: £ Competitive Location: UK The Company and Role: We have a great opportunity with Convatec, a global medical products and technology company, who are seeking a highly motivated and fully qualified European Patent Attorney with a background in an Engineering discipline - mechanical/electrical.
Key Tasks: Drafting and prosecution of patent applications.
Perform prior art investigations and patentability assessments.
Provide infringement and validity advice.
Provide support to opposition and litigation proceedings.
The successful candidate will have: At least 2/3 years post-qualification experience, preferably with a healthcare/life sciences background.
Demonstrate strong research and communication skills.
To be highly motivated, with the drive and ambition to progress your career.
High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behaviour.
